Sailing This Memorial Weekend?
T'was storming and rainy in NC. Plus, the two boats are still not seaworthy.
My lovely crew and I raced last weekend on the club's old, soggy H16 and came in 2nd overall. Had two crappy starts with fluky light breezes that kept on shifting and heading us. AAARG! But, we pulled ahead of most of the boats on those races to finish well. Third race had our best start.... right on the money!Â
2nd Race with poor start:

Camera battery exhausted by 3rd race.
Likely working on re-sewing the Mystere's tramp today. Finally got some PTFE thread in the mail.Â
Raced at Ocean Springs Yacht Club in their Slip 2 Ship Regatta. Great venue, great people - weather was ok.. could have been worse...Â
@texastuma How was the Oceans Springs Regatta? About how many boats would you say were registered for it? I heard they have a healthy size catamaran class at Ocean Springs Yacht Club… thinking of checking it out…
