Gary,

Sorry to hear that you are selling up. <img src="<>/shocked.gif" alt="shocked" title="shocked" height="15" width="15" />
Somebody will undoubtedly be very happy to buy such a well set up F16 Blade. <img src="<>/cool.gif" alt="cool" title="cool" height="15" width="15" />

What do you intend to sail next ? Could it be another Mozzie ?

Regards,

Peter

Hi Peter,

have to sell this one before I can make new plans.

Money is real tight since being made redundant, current job is commision, will be months before I can build it to a decent wage. So not much travel to promote Blade possible any more. Hence the sale of the boat.

Hi all,

yes I didn't realise it was Vanessa on the rescue boat taking pictures till after. Might have to sue the mag, as no permission was gained to use my image. <img src="<>/cry.gif" alt="cry" title="cry" height="15" width="15" />.

I wonder if she caught much of the scramble up the tramp as I had been sailing with my feet against the leeward centreboard, to get the hull flying, but let it get to high and didn't get to the top of the hull quick enough and then overbalanced as is obvious. <img src="<>/blush.gif" alt="blush" title="blush" height="15" width="15" />

Of course the good news was that despite my managing to capsize the wind wasn't strong enough to race. Takes a lot of wind to get a Hobie moving I guess. <img src="<>/wink.gif" alt="wink" title="wink" height="15" width="15" />

Hi Stephen,

yes couldn't miss the weed <img src="<>/frown.gif" alt="frown" title="frown" height="15" width="15" />. The shot was taken in the same area as where I cartwheeled the day before when I hit the weed. Thing is most of it is not floating it is attached to the bottom <img src="<>/shocked.gif" alt="shocked" title="shocked" height="15" width="15" />. Scary going flat out in water so shallow the foils are running through the weed growing on the bottom <img src="<>/crazy.gif" alt="crazy" title="crazy" height="15" width="15" />.

What was it Dorothy said? There's no place like home! <img src="<>/wink.gif" alt="wink" title="wink" height="15" width="15" />

It is a Tool, I mean that nicely of course <img src="<>/grin.gif" alt="grin" title="grin" height="15" width="15" /> . Seems like a good boat in the right hands like any A. Will be interesting when he races Glenn to see if he is as fast as he looked against the fleet up there. Of course he is beatable, I beat him one race at Kurnell with the FCA Blade last year, when he had just launched the new boat <img src="<>/wink.gif" alt="wink" title="wink" height="15" width="15" />.

Victorian built Tool.

Won every race in a VERY hot fleet. I would not be throwing my money blindly on Ashby for this World.
