I just spoke to W.F. Oliver and ordered the first USA Javelin 16! I hope to have my boat by late May 2003. If the new rule issue works out, then I hope to be sailing with the F-16HP class soon afterwards. I have been in contact with several other sailors and friends who are looking to get into a Javelin 16. This looks like it is going to go places fast, just like the Javelin 2.
I have offered to head up the start of the US Javelin 16 class and will try to make it a great class success like the F-18HT class is for the Javelin 2. Ideally, I would like to see the US Javelin 16 Class become a member of the F-16HP class. Otherwise, I will work hard to see the Javelin 16 Class become a outstanding class in its own right.

Where is the best place to get a good comparison/contrast review of the Javelin 16 and its closest sales competitor? (which I think is supposed to be the Taipan 4.9)
