In response to the F16 secretary post at the top, I have just looked at the membership tool on the F16 website & it works a treat.... <img src=

As soon as i find my new F16 - i will be joining up straight away.

Who else is in.??

And you'd be very welcome on both counts!

Apparently we've had a very good response in just the first 24 hours, I guess people do realise that ONLY if there is an established international association behind the F16 concept can the future of F16 and the resale value of existing F16 designs be assured. <img src=

Plus, of course, with associations forming on several continents, F16 will spread and we get more opportunity for a genuine World Championship in just a few years time....

John, I'm already a member of the USF16 Association; however, I did fill out your registration form in case you needed the information.

cheers,
Terry

Terry,

Thanks! The form is primarily for first-time joiners of course, but actually what you've done could be very helpful to the F16GC so that we have up-to-date contact details for all F16 owners. If anyone else wants to simply register their details in this way, the information just goes to Phill Brander who stores it manually on a spreadsheet....

Everybody !

Becoming a member is also very important to fund the class and activities of the class officials.

For almost 7 years now we have all gotten a free ride on the good will of a handful of volunteers and class officials. Now it is time to take the financial load of these people and cover all the class costs together.

So please everybody that has enjoyed the various benefits of these volunteer efforts becoming a member and support the F16 class financially.

And of course I've registered myself as well !

Wouter

You should not have to sign into the formula16.org site to join the association. You must however sign into your paypal account to pay the fee.

I too could only progress after I had logged onto the Formula16.org website.

The paypal login is a seperate issue

Maybe we have found a small bug here ?

Guys, there is always a price for being first to the new stuff in the IT world. The old adage

first to the mill, and you are certain to be thrown into the pond with the millstone around your neck

comes to mind. <img src=

What happened was that John made the announcement before the system was made public. It was only available to registered users for testing/feedback. That status changed a few hours later when I noticed the announcement. I think this case is firmly closed <img src=

To join the Aus F16 association, I didn't need to log onto the F16 web site.

I was explaining that I couldn't log on, and I still can't.

There fore I have re-submitted log on details using my work email.

Regards

Hi all,

if you don't have a Pay Pal account, you can just enter credit card details and pay that way it worked for me.

That is nothing to be ashamed of. One day you can come out of the closet and join not just in spirit like now, but also in real life. <img src=

alt=

/> The sensible weight and versatility of our class will be more important as sailors grow older or start families.

Seriously. PayPal was choosen becouse international bank transfers are quite expensive, and we (not the royal

we

but the class) dont want to spend our money on banks when it can be used for the class instead. It was also quite easy to interface with PayPal so we could get running without investing lots of time and money.

Oh, and I have joined. <img src=
