I know most everyone in the Southeast US are focused on the Tradewinds Regatta in a few weeks, but.....

Who is going to be at the F16/A Class Invitational in Gulfport, FL in March? There are a few F16 teams contemplating a long drive to attend... it would certainly add some positive pressure for them to attend when a large turnout is expected.

Chime in when you can... top notch race management, good venue, awesome club support, etc, etc.......

Is there a link to the NOR for the event? I would like to enter the event into the F-16 class calendar on our formula.org website.

Halfway there. Does that count?

Gina always did strike me as being pretty smart. Maybe we should both listen to her and stay away from Stephan?!?! <img src=

GYC homepage: http://www.gulfportyachtclub.com/

Links to the NOR can found on that page.....

Be careful not to confuse it with the Gulfport Yacht Club in Mississippi, USA.

Thanks Tom. Just put entered it in the approval queue for the calendar.

PS: The calendar is open for everybody to submit events. They will be published in the calendar pending approval of the administrator (Paul). An up-to date calendar is important for the class and image outwards, so please everybody, feel free to add F-16 events <img src=

Three things jump out at me:

1. F18 Nationals? Where is the F16 gear?
2. Vectorworks has Tshirt advertising in Europe... nice.
3. Budweiser????? sells in Europe????? The sign in the background.

That picture reminds me that photogrpahy at events is worth taking th time to pursue. Not only on the water shots, but social as well. Well done.

Hi Tom,

Thanks for the invitation. It would be lovely to see you guys all! And even better to sail with you.

Our flights aren't confirmed at the moment, but Kathleen and I will keep the offer in mind.
I'll let you know about the ice-tea 😉

Gill

Jody, Oley and I are trying working on getting there. (great practice for the AC) Where do you all stay? Can we park a RV on the parking lot overnight? (we don't need hook ups) Hope we can come-really looking forward to meeting everyone.

It's been done before, I'm not aware of any complaints.

Or find an F16 boat owner who desires a crew. Note the use of the word

desires

instead of

needs

!

There is a Days Inn on 34th St that was rather cheap. Is it still in an

ok

part of town? the rooms were clean and it had a pool and hot tub that were nicely kept. The hot tub was especially nice after a long day. They are advertising $79 single rooms right now......

I camped in the RV at the club for a week - they were super accomodating.

I'm looking for a charter boat (F16 - two-up) for this event. Anyone?
