Gulfport, FL April 27-8 Who's in?
Well the F16 forum has been too quiet, so let's talk about sailing, what say ye?
I'm off and I intend to get over to Gulfport for that regatta, I know there is a Sarasota event the prior weekend, who's going to which one or both?
I'll miss the Sarasota event, working. I hope we have a good fleet for Gulfport.

5 F16's showed up, Seth and Tina, Matt and Gina, Joanna and Jim, two of Robie D's students, and myself, Uni.
Saturday was kind of light and fluky, lots of holes and huge shifts. Matt+Gina, and the two kids on the Viper, were usually at the front, but you could be in first place one minute, hit a hole, watch the guys across the bay get a puff, and poof, you're in last place! The RC got in 4 races.
Sunday the wind was much better for the first race, but then started to die out in the second race, but then shifted to the south and came back in ok for the last two races, lots more shifts and holes. 4 more races.
Matt and Gina were first overall, the Viper Kids next, Joanna and Jim took 3rd, Seth and Tina 4th, I had an equipment failure (I busted the rudder crossbar in a gybe) that took me out of the last two races, for DFL.
Weather was sunny and warm. I was in shorts and a T shirt. There were also about 7(?) H16's and about 11(?) A cats.

Tim, clear your PM que!
What do you think of this? http:/
NG had a nice little show on the secret aircraft developed by Germany shortly before their collapse in WWII.
Seems they had a stealth (to the radar of the 40's) fighter flying and almost finished a nuclear capable stealth bomber capable of reaching New York.
Designs were almost identical to current F117 fighter and B-2 stealth bomber.. almost 60 years before current models got off the drafting table.
Well we've still come a long way since this:

And in only 110 years!
Or...NOT! http:/
(the more things change, the more they stay the same!)
