From the babelfish translation -

'CAUTION: this sail is not

Class Legal

for FX-One and could be used that in Open race.'

Also interesting that they specify the rating as 1.04 but say nothing about F104.

Read the webpage again, there is indeed a reference to the 104 class, even a link to a more detailed discussion of the FX-one extreme and teh 104 class.

Price of this new

Extreme

design is 16.165 Euro compared to a 14.165 Euro Blade F16/Stealth F16.

I never knew that 30 kg of resin was so expensive ! I guess that is what the identifier

Extreme

refers too ! <img src=

Interesting to see what it rates as F104 is actually F1.035-1.045 - Catchy name eh ?

You said that Hobie renews FXOne. This isn't from Hobie, right?
It seems more of an aftermarket upgrade.

I know these guys also make a similar looking set up for the Tiger. I was hoping it was something that I could use in OD racing too.

Here is an advert for 'Hobie Cat Centre Poole' It appears you can now purchase a full on FX-Extreme which is meant to compete with the F16 and Spitfire. We'll have to wait and see if they are as fast as they are making out!!!

Mark,

could you upload the ad again? I dont get it to work..

Looks like the 16foot with spi segment is becoming interesting to the manufacturers. Time for us to set the standard for that market segment in concrete!
