I am looking at having to use up some airplane miles and was thinking of getting on a boat as crew or maybe chartering one. Would like to do that leading up to the Invitational in March. Looking at the schedule I don't see anything at all going on for Jan & Feb. Is the ice really that thick down there? Ed
Oh yeah! The bay freezes over. hahahahah I think the F16 A cat invitation is the start of the year for the racing at GYC. I am not 100% sure though.
Are you saying other than the Tradewinds, there isn't another regatta until March?? Nothing at GYC? Hey, I'll run them here in Sebring as often as you want, all winter, bring your spray suit 'cause the lake is cooling off a bit. I was out last week in shorts and a T shirt, the air was 80 but the water was a bit cooler. At least we are finally getting some cold front winds.
