I'M sure it's been discussed but I cannot find it. Is there any standard size or placement of the F-16 logo on the sail? I've found a couple of different examples in the F-16 web site photo gallery. Help appreciated. Ed

Attached is a letter about logo placement from the Governing Council (GC). I believe it to be accurate.

EDIT: For some reason I cannot attach the file. Here is the text, no pictures:

Dear reader,

The F16 Governing Council is aware of the need to create a uniformity of identity for the class and in the current F16 rules the location of the F16 logo is not prescribed, so we want to ask all builders, sail makers and F16 related craftsman to do the following in reference to the F16 logo.
.
We would to ask you to put the F16 logo in the lowest panel of the main sail, about 300 mm from the leech and about 300 mm from the foot of the sail. (See also the attached drawing below) While this position is not an absolute requirement, we would appreciate your efforts to locate the logo as closely as possible to this position.

The logo is attached in this e-mail as an eps file. If you cannot open it please let us know so we can send you another type of file. Please mark up which type of file is required.

Boat make logos e.g Blade, Viper, Stealth etc. still occupy the principal position on the mainsail around twothirds height. In addition if an owner wishes to show a large F16 logo in place of the boat make logo, this is acceptable.
