[#29239]

The Sarasota Sailing Squadron has bought two new Falcons for their Youth Sailing program.

I think Jody lives over there with his Blade. Pete, if you and I show up too, that's a 5 boat F16 fleet. I'm going to start pestering the SSS to let us know when they will be running their training events, maybe we can draw some of the other FL West Coast area F16 guys in as well.

They should have some kids available to crew for us too!

Team Child Abuse could be in business again.

<img src="<>/laugh.gif" alt="laugh" title="laugh" height="15" width="15" /> I think they have quite a training program. You might not be up to their standards, I'm surely not.

Over the last couple of years I've sailed with some pretty good crew but unless you have time to develop team work it doesn't help all that much.

Not me, at least not -this- weekend. I'm on my way to Hong Kong tomorrow early, for a 6 day trip, by way of Minneapolis (Hi Karl!) then Tokyo. I won't be back to the States (through MSP again) until Monday, the 23rd.

In August I'm off 4th and 18th, hope to get up to GYC for those if you guys are going then.

And when is Wild Cat?? Sept. or Oct??

Thanks, still not sure about Gilligans, need to check the bank...I just spent $1,400 on a crown for a busted tooth!

I would have rather had a new mainsail, mine is about 5 years old!

But you have only used it 10 times so you're still good for a few more years.

Broken tooth, I don't believe that one was listed on Wouters list of 73 excuses, kudos.

Gotta watch out who's nutz you eat Ding!

That's how I broke it, eating almonds!

It was a rear, lower left molar. They wanted to do a root canal but it was only half gone, the root was still good, so they put a cap on it, and then my wallet started hurting.

Naw, Delta is too cheap to serve any almonds, still only peanuts and pretzels at Mother D. I was at home when it happened, snacking on almonds because, get this, they are supposed to be GOOD for you!

I think I'll go back to snacking on donuts, nobody ever broke a tooth on a donut!

How long you going to be at at msp Tim? I've always got time to buy my second favorite Delta pilot a beer. (Buy a Viper from me and you could be tied for first btw.....)

Thanks for the offer Karl. I'm in Hong Kong now, It's 1:41am...
We get into MSP at 1 pm on the 23, I'll be on a 3:30 flt to Atlanta, so not enough time to drink.

Maybe next time, how far north of MSP are you?

AhhSo, (I'm in Tokyo now, they all talk like that!)

Next time I do the MSP-HKG trip I'll give you fair warning and hope to be able to empty a few aluminum cans with you. In August I'm doing 3 of the Detroit to Shanghai, so it'll have to be Sept.

It's been hot up there in MSP! Hotter than Florida!

It's been omg hot for sure. I was down in Clearwater a couple of weeks ago and it was much cooler. My brother was in Orlando last week, I told him he was crazy when he told when/where he was going, lucky bastard went somewhere cooler.

I think things are about to break here weather wise. It's been ferociously hot for Minnesota, not nearly as bad as the middle of Illinois or Indiana. I drove home through Indianapolis on the way back from Florida, and it looked like a flipping desert. The truck said 110F, and its usually fairly accurate.
