[#26874]

I purchased a classified ad on Wednesday. It is still not up. Please don't flame me.

I am selling the galvanized trailer that came with my Blade. (The boat has been moved to an aluminum trailer.) If any of you guys are looking for an F16 trailer near Atlanta contact me: geoffrey.smith at emory.edu .

Once saw an advert in the classifieds that read like this :

Wife says :

She goes or the boat goes

. So on offer for a

want-to-move

price. Wife, with a few years on her but nothing a little paint here and there can't fix. Comes with 2 kids, family car and a morgage. First serious offer will take her home.

phone : .... etc

I would never sell my children. You can have them for free. You wouldn't last 24 hours before returning.

so...have you measured how much flextion is in that trailer when you lift up on the front crossbar?

Of course, you know a boat can only remain as stiff as the trailer will allow!

Now you've done it!!! Racking is a real concern if you ask me.

Best way to prevent

racking

on a trailer IMO [of the boat- wearing a

cup

is best way for the sailor 😉 ]- support boat at inboard of front beams (this actually supports most of the weight of the boat) and middle of rear beam- I actually use an fixed inverted

L

angle on my rear mast stand and the rear beam is tied up to it (it's padded). I also have

U

sockets on the front beam supports so once boat is on front beam supports and rear mast stand is pinned in boat cannot

escape

from trailer except in cataclysmic accident (pun intended!).
