Anybody have any information on Winter/Spring races, specifically in the SE US. I know of Spring Fever (not sure when it is this year), but no others.
Wouter/Kirt---perhaps we could add some funtionality to the website to allow folks to post race information?

Indeed, I've been looking to upgrade the website for a while now, it definately needs extra functionality.
Currently we are wrapping up the rules ballot; All US and European voters have put in their votes. Several Australians have as well, although we are waiting for the last votes to come overthere. Australian vote on paper and not electronically like the US and EU therefor it takes a little longer.
Anyways, as soon as that is behind us and puts an end to all efforts deployed in the last three months I will have time to focus on the new website.
This is going to be a pay site with allowance to used script languages and able to do alot more than what we can do on the free website we have now.
Webadressen have been claimed and attractive hosting companies have been identified. This week I'm working out a basic plan for the new site and will discuss that with a web techy I know.
After this plan has been fixed I will start building, hopefully with the help of a few of the F16 sailors who aren't doing much during this winter time. Both in the field of content and webbuilders I can use any help that anyone can give me.
Also, it may be a good idea if you all express your "wants" on this forum so I can take them into account when working out the basic layout/architecture.
So guy what you want to see added / improved / altered on the new website ? Next to what Jeff has asked for of course !

We need to make some class decisions in the u.s.
We had our first annual T4.9 class meeting at the T4.9 Nat's, and did a lot of brainstorming. Now we need to compile a list of e-mails and/or phone #'s of all the T4.9 (and F16) owners in the u.s.
Then we can plan for the winter/spring.
We also need to vote in class officers, then pay dues. Nominations have been made, now the real work starts.

Idea for the new web site: an F16HP registry with a world map showing the location of each boat in the world. My favorite part of the current site is the pics and info on all the boats.
