As you can see from the meeting minutes Steve indicated the 3rd week of October. I've pinged Steve asking for the specific dates. Please visit the USF18 site, Mike, Jeff and I'm sure others are doing a really nice job and the site has become quite useful. The content Jeff is creating is worth the mouse clicks the guy is freaking killing it!

Steve Piche, Corpus Christi Yacht Club
o Steve Piche presented bid for 2014 Nationals on behalf of Corpus ChristiYacht Club
o Planning to host third week of October in Corpus Bay
o CCYC has hosted several world class events including US Sailing Youth Champs, and Melges 24 Worlds
o Sailing will take place in a large bay approximately 20 mile circumference
o Anticipate 70 - 80° F and 10 - 15 knt SE breeze building to 15 - 20
o Hosting out of Radisson Hotel on North Beach
o Bid passed unanimously
I've heard from Steve. The details are still being hashed out with the yacht club but they fully expect the event to happen Oct 20-24th. These dates are unofficial until the yacht club makes the formal announcement which should be soon.
Thanks Dave. The USF18 website is looking great, been following it since it was first updated. Glad we have dates, can now fill in the calendar!
