I found this dvd for sale on the New Zealand f18 class website. Link to dvd page
The sailing clips are semi entertaining and the commentary by top f18 sailors helps... however what really sold me was the 3-D illustrations on how to handle wind shifts and the starting illustration. I coach 420's, Optis and etc. all summer and I could use this both as a teaching tool and to get the kids to watch some cats sailing and maybe get them into cats. I had numerous kids last summer trying to buy my nacra 6.0 from me, I then had to explain to their parents why there 12 year old 100 pound kid I was teaching to sail optimists wouldn't be ready for the 6.0.
Anyways, I didn't look into it but i'm guessing the shipping fee from NZ to the U.S. would be pretty hefty? Maybe we could do a group order to someone and ship them out within the U.S. once we got them? Maybe this would help defray some of the shipping expense?
I'm in Bristol, RI and I would be willing to take the order and send them out from here if anyone is interested let me know.

Hi Guys,

I bought this DVD a year or so ago. It is very well produced and there is stuff there for both your top racers and novice sailors alike. I'd think most of that stuff would be applicable to the F16 guys or any other cat running a kite.

I have the video and it is really worth the money. It is very professionally done.. But I don't think that is is from NZ, rather I think that its someone in europe..I can't remember where I bought it..I don't think that it was ebay...There are some threads on it here somewhere..do a search..

This double DVD was made by George Tillard of France (I believe). It's a very good DVD, but I think some of the Tornado footage was more 'show off' sailing than real competitive sailing. The sections with Bundy, Ashby and the french are excellent.
The DVD is sold internationally, and it's available from the catsailor.com online shop.
