What is the name of the sail lubricant made in Germany with a name something like Holmolkin (sp)

Have you tried McLube?...works great for my needs and is cheaper. (Also available at The Chandlery, supporting your local shop)

Holmenkol SealnGlide was the product.

I searched for it recently and was eventually informed by Holmenkol that they unfortunately no longer produce it. Huge loss! While it was spendy, it was the best thing out there.

SailKote does a pretty good job at least, but is a slower application for small sails. I recommend using the liquid versus aerosol product. It goes longer and makes for better coverage. And is far more economical in the long run.

Apparently there were several

nanotech

products that have disappeared in the last two years... curious.

That stuff was awesome. Hate to hear it's not available anymore.
