I read the F18 manual and am trying to get my Tornado to about that degree of simplicity for raising the Spinnaker. However I really need more pictures or diagrams to work from. I'm sure it's pretty simple if I could see one in person but the photos need to be more specific for me to duplicate the system properly and make a few modifications to make it work on my Tornado.
If you've got a good line routing diagram or could send me some photos that would be appreciated. Thanks. Mike. Bellingham WA USA.

Which manual are you looking at? If you haven't looked at the C2 manual, start on page 19. It includes photos and a line diagram.

Is that helpful?

Yes that's helpful. I'm trying to get to a one line system but I think there's going to be some slack in the tack line and also where the retrievel line passes up through the trampoline. So how to keep the lines taught when the spinnaker is raised and where to put the halyard jam cleat etc. This is helpful though.. Thanks.

Mike if you are ever in Anacortes I'd be happy to show you my boat (Tiger). There are some other folks around who have the single line spinnaker tack line, my boat does not. We are sailing Sat if you want to come down, maybe even bring your boat! Forecast is 15-25. PM me or email Ian at CounterCurrentMarine.com

My halyard is one line that disappears under in the middle of the tramp then comes back up right next to it to go forward again. Under the tramp I have a block on a bungy with rope limiter that is set up so the block cant twist or get pulled into the blocks going through the tramp. This bungy always keeps the halyard at the same tension, the uphaul and retrieval are always tight and never get caught

The AHPC version of the single-line set-up can be found beginning on page 14 of the Capricorn manual.
