I have put the series together in an attempt to generate more interest in F18 racing in the southern area. With the 2012 Worlds right around the corner it’s almost time to start accumulating your points. The series is a best of 5 and a minimum of 3 attended to qualify. I’ll keep the schedule open for additions until December 31 at which time I’ll lock it down.

It's getting down to the wire with only one regatta left to determine the Zhik 2010/2011 Southern Area F18 Winter Series Champion. Only one point separates our current leader of Casey/Tebo from the second place team Reiss/Whitehead. It only seems fitting that the Zhik Southern Area Winter Series champion will be crowned at the Southern Area F18 Championship in less that two weeks at Spring Fever, Lake Harwell GA.
Third place is also up for grabs but is not as hotly contested as the top spot.

If Ricky does exactly what Brendon tells him to do he might have a shot a seeing what the front of our boats look like.
The delta between 3rd & 4th place is actually 4 points when you factor in that it's a best of five series and anything beyond five regattas have to be dropped.
