Are ther any distance races on the west coast, other than in SF bay?

Hmmm. Only quasi-distance race I've heard of is Santa Cruz to Moss Landing--sponsored by the Hobie fleet.

THe Land Rover Island series is open to BeachCats for the 1st time this summer. There 3 events, Hardway (~29 mile course for cats from Santa Barbara to Ventura harbors), the Milt Ingram (~45 mile 'round Anacapa Isld to port) and finally the Tri-point (~45 mile 'round Anacapa to starboard). All are run by Pierpont Bay YC PBYC
