Where is F20 going? I've been on the sidelines watching and wondering about this subject for a year now.

I'd be interested in helping out in anyway possible.

Hi Mike

Apreciate the post and interest , time to get off the sidelines -

Would like a number of interested sailors over the last year in geographic locations around the countryand Canada to get more involved this fall and winter in establishing the F-20 organization . Planning to start the class this fall and racing next season along with other established Formula classes.

-- been the main motivator in attempting to hammer out basic rules the class could grow and function within, but would be pleased if others got more involved that perhaps have better organizational skills and more time available than I may have to offer , though am determined to see a F-20 organization in N A .-WILL ALWAYS BE.

Been intereted in starting this for the last 4 years .

-When the I -20 came out we were excited about F-20 racing then realized it had 15 more sq ft in the main and is considerably lighter than current i F-20 rules , along with other diverse designs listed on page 5 with boat specifications of each its obvious we have a different more difficult set of existing circumstances to work within and resolve differences.

The strategy has been to allow F 18s AND NOW SUPRIZINGLY 18 HTs and 16s to get started in their Formula length catagories in N A , SO OTHERS CAN UNDERSTAND THAT FORMULA RACING CAN WORK VERY WELL .

Then hopefully more easily resolve differences and address rules to handle these differences get more advice ,observe developments in cat racing and get F-20 going .

Lets get a list of volunteers to help organize , set up the web site ,and start contacting race organizers and planning Formula events for the new season ahead .

regards

Carl

Carl,

Put me down as a volunteer. Also, I'm a programmer by trade, so if there is anything that I can do to help out on the web site, let me know.
