The spin pole I am using is 14' When I sheet to the shrouds the foot of the spin looks too tight compared to the luff..

Anyone have any ideas?

Dave

Possiblities include:

Lower the pole.
Shorten the pole.
Move the lead block farther forward.

The pole on my 6.0 is app. 12 ft.
The pole is moutend unther the bridle foil and the blocks are mounted on the front beam.
I am thinking of mounting an extra set of blocks on the rear beam next season.

your other option is to sell the sail to me and get one that fits.

The I20 pole is 12 ft and it is sheeted right at the stay wire. I would sell the spin and buy the "class" spin at 350 ft^2 the I20 is only 271 ft^2 I have not seen a Portsmouth adjustment for a smaller spin although a larger one will get an protest if not modified. The 6.0 is a great distance boat and the 350 spin is great fun, I sailed it on my I20 and it was a hoot.
