Barring complications with the first mate having to go work or some such, Miz B. should be there

Hey Clayton,

hold that thought. I need to get together with the 'regular' crew and see whether they want to do this, and if we have space you are MORE than welcome

where were you at Ihop, huh?

Sam,

thanks for the lovely pix. thanks for your hard work, and the hard work of the RC and FWYC. Y'all all put on a truly large time.

And congratulations to Kincaid, he came out of nowhere, what wicked sailing y'all do... 😉

Tammi,

If you want like any of the pics of your boat, just let me know and I can send you a CD with the 'orginals' on it.

--Sam

ALSO: My wife's parents were on top of Destin Bridge taking photos as we all went under and 'out to sea'. We should have those up ASAP (or whenever they get back from Disney World!).

is the file size of the 'original' much larger than the file size of the large view as seen at the website?

I mean, I figured out that if you click twice, there are two sizes of each pic there at the FWYC site. I downloaded the larger of the two...

And, oh yeah... and if there are other pix of us that you didn't post at FWYC...

What I'm saying is, yeah, I'd like the CD, but it won't be worth your trouble if the stuff at the FWYC site is the same, know what I mean?

I'm really glad you took the pix... I couldn't really see that wrinkle in the top of the main nearly like I can see it in the pix. And the pix are good for analysis. If I can't be fast, I should at least learn something, huh... lol

Again, thanks for your and FWYC committees' efforts. Y'all all have done a great job of it... I know what it's like to run and score a race, it's not fun...

The 'originals' ARE larger, my camera is an 8 megapixel...allowing you to really ZOOM in on those wrinkles!

Once I get the other pics from the in-laws, I will get your mailing address...or I guess I could just get it from the club.

Anyway, we always enjoy running the races...and RACING the races!

...I'll take you up on that. Yeah, the club should have my snailmail addy. Can I offer some sort of recompense for your time, effort and materials?

thanks

The joy of racing against such a pretty boat is compensation enough!

I will get the pics out as soon as I can.

Wow that RC30 is really fast! Finish in 10-1/2 hrs? The other RC wasn't far behind. Am I reading that right? Did some boats take 30 hrs?

If you didn't make the best of it during the day, you were totally screwed, because the land breeze never filled in worth a damn.

We took 22 hr. I recall one of the other Fboats finished at 8am, which would be 25hr...
