Kathryn, you might want to also post this notice on the local Florida cat racing site, www.1design.net There are losts of cat racers who visit that site from the Tampa-Clearwater area who also have Corsairs, Stilettos, etc. and maybe they would come.

I have always loved the Sarasota area, living only 85 miles east in Sebring, that's where I usually take the family for some beach time. I would love to see regular Corsair Fleet racing develop over there, might even be able to talk the wife into one if she saw a bunch out having fun!

Thank you for the info. Sorry about the delay in the response, I was away racing Houston NOOD and just got back.
You are right there are a lot of Corsairs sailing in this area and currently 6 Corsairs are out of the Sarasota Sailing Squadron. I will check out the site you mentioned. Thank you again.

I think I counted about 3-4 at the Davis Island YC in Tampa last month too, if you could bring them down that would help...unless they were all visiting from the Sarasota area.

I looked at your www.1design.net site, but I could not see how to register for this site to be able to log in. Therefore, I could not post anything there.

Hmm...I'll check into it and see why you couldn't register.
