Hey all.

8 boats entered this year so far, which is good, but not great. If you are on the edge and there's anything we can do to get your 28R on the line, please let me know I'll do what I can to help.

Rumor has it we need 10 boats on the line to be invited back next year, and given the recent BS with multi's being cut from the Olympics, it would be a blow to lose the only mainstream OD presence that we have in the US.

Don't let the Nationals in New England keep you from trekking to the blue green waters and competition at Key West. We'll buy the first round for any boat signing up from this point on... <img src=

Where should this celebration occur? A gathering spot in Key West for just the Corsair sailors seems like a good idea if we could come up with a location and date.

Not that I will be able to partake, but Ricky's Blue Heaven has been our favorite in Key West for great food and Key West atmosphere. It's enough off the beaten path to maybe not be overcrowded by tourons either. Hemingway's fighting chickens are supposedly buried in the backyard...

I say the Green Parrot by the launch ramp. Only other sailors there are the M24 guys, and we should do it before we race since you guys need to be hung over for the first start...

Thought you had me didn't you. Ha! Paul doesn't drink either and the rest of my crew keeps me on track. There will be no hangovers on EVOLUTION! We will be in Key West Saturday night to get in just one more day's practice before the races start. Although throughout the week, I'm sure we will be checking out the haunts previously mentioned in this thread. See you there!

Congrats to all the F28R sailors! Great job, glad the wind finally settled down for you to get in some good races. What's the next fleet race, NOOD at St. Pete in Feb?
