wisconsin would be more then sufficent
the holiday weekend at the end of the month there will be a get together and outing at the lure bar and grill on lake petenwell near wisconsin rapids. a race from the beach to the dam and back.. ive never done it before but planning to this year. barnum bay yacht club/ theres a website with the list of events.
