2 piece mast
Im doing some research on the subject
but can not find pictures and Technical documentation
any help would be great.
The laser has a two piece mast, but I thought there is a catamaran out there with a two piece mast. Maybe the seaspray?

It is an option when you buy a boat and it's made for transport reasons.

A 2 piece mast is not, in any way, less safe than a 1 piece mast. On the contrary, a 2 piece mast is safer because the mast chamber is divided into 2 waterproof chambers by the connecting unit which is filled and seald with foam.

The Dart 15 (now renamed Sprint 15 since the Laser Centre stopped making them) can be bought with a two piece mast for cartopping I believe.
The old BIM A cats had 2 piece carbond fiber masts made by RIBA, I believe a European company?
And I believe the Catapult (sp?), an inflatable cat made in England also had a 2 piece aluminum mast-
