In case you weren't following the progress of the two guys on a modified Hobie 16, they finished their trip down the Ohio river to New Orleans. Their website is at http://cureals.home.att.net/

Jack,
judging from the waters edge, the picture was taken quite a ways up-river. I met those guys near Baton Rouge, Louisiana, quite by coincidence. I happen to be crossing the ferry by where they had beached for the night. Quite an interesting pair!
