Are you ready to experience 300 miles of Extreme Sailing at its best? The ULTIMATE beach catamaran sailing event in North America is happening June 16-19, 2010.

Here's your chance to race against the BEST in TEXAS! If you're a seasoned veteran, the GT300 is the race for you...or if you just want to experience a taste of the race, the Surfside to Galveston Dash is held the last day.

More information on both the GT300 and the Dash can be found at www.GT300.com

The F18's are already giving a strong showing in commiting to this race. I think we had 5 Nacra 20's last year and the rest F18's. I'm hearing some rumble about the Tornados comming as well as a few P19MX's in the Open Class. This would be great to see since the race has been pretty reachy the last few years. Also rumored is Dennis Banks' ARC21 will be back on the starting line. Should be a great year.

As of today, we have 7 F18s - 4 Tigers, 2 Infusions and 1 Capricorn, and on I20. We also have 2 DASH entrants. Would be awesome to see some of you Tornado owners out there!

GT300 Update! The first Tornado team has signed up for the 2010 GT300! Might we see some other Tornado teams this year? To date, we now have 11 GT300 teams and 3 DASH teams!

Four more tornado entries and we'll have a new class!

The Tornado is a Marstrom. I've been waiting for years for one to show up and do this race. Hopefully this will get Jamie Livingston to bring his? Anyone feel like rattling his cage? Trey? Help he out here.

By the way, the registration officially opens on March 1. At this point, we are collecting names of teams that are interested in sailing the race.

If anyone is interested in helping out with a team, there are often teams in need of a driver/team manager. Please contact me should you be available to spend a week driving down the Texas coast, hanging out on the beach with a group of incredible people, and have the desire to learn what Texas sailing is all about. My contact info is treuwsaat@gmail.com or 512.797.4483. Thanks! Terri Reuwsaat, Beach Captain, GT300.
