Just FYI Kevin - there's no such thing as advertising

Category A

(which used to mean no advertising allowed). Those went away when the ISAF regs were revised in May 2010.

It's now just

ISAF Regulation 20 - Advertising Code

Reg 20 is actually the default per RRS. It limits both what the competitors and OA can do, based on length. For our boats, advertising is allowed as the basic rule. You have to ask yourself some tough questions if you want restrict that.

Best practice is to not mention advertising unless you want to remind people to leave room for OA sponsors (again, redundant but done as a courtesy).

Hope this helps.

Mike

Yeah, I'm aware of the change, having some difficulty getting a revised NoR posted.
