The first day of the Nacra 17 North American championships in Clearwater Beach, Florida was scrubbed due to high winds (23mph, gusting to 31mph) and 6 foot swells. 19 boats are registered. None of them left the beach this morning. The race committee abandoned the day following a 2 hour postponement.
