The 2015 USF18 championship will be hosted by the fine folks at Charlotte Harbor Yacht Club October 2015. The championship is a great way to kick off the winter sailing so come on down.

It will be a pleasure to see all of you F18'ers twice in one year.

Brian Gleason used his Saturday column to brag about his effort to get this event to come to our piece of Paradise.

Thank you to Todd Riccardi and Dave Ingram for your support!

Excellent, for purely selfish reasons I was really hoping it came back to Florida!

Looking forwards to it. Last time I was there the conditions were excellent and the host club is very supportive!
Now to encourage a large fleet at the Charlotte Harbor regatta February 5-8 as a warm up. Who's in?

I'm offended by the term bragging, Jack. You know how humble I am. 😉 Sincere thanks to Todd and Dave for their support.

This is great! All of our classes need to get back to planning more than one year at a time. I know this takes work, but is critical to help avoid conflicts, give more time for planning (for both sailors and hosts), generate sponsorship, etc. All good things to drive up attendance and quality.

What are the actual dates?

Mike

Brian has blocked out Oct 17 - 25. I suspect the actual on the water dates are being sorted.

Brian,

I am proud that you represented us and thank you for putting forth the effort to bring this event to our home waters. Bragging may not be the correct word for me to choose, but you have a right to.

Make sure you bring some of the other California rif raf with you. The CA contingent was missed this year, the beach just isn't as pretty when Peasy isn't there.
