A-Class Islamorada Race Week Day Three

After a rest day, 42 boats (two more showed up on Wednesday) lined up for the start of the USACA Midwinter Championship, the second regatta of Islamorada Race Week. Four races were completed today in 8-10 knots of wind. It was a beautiful day of racing.

Matt Macdonald with Vectorworks Marine debuted the first US built Bim XJ. The boat is beautiful and Matt did an excellent job on the water with a couple of top 10 finishes today.

Racing resumes tomorrow morning with 2-3 more races to conclude this fantastic week of racing A-cats in the Keys.
