The A-Class/505 Midwinter Championship begins on Friday 2/4 with racing through Superbowl Sunday (WHO DAT!). The regatta venue is Fort Desoto State Park just south of the Sunshine Skyway bridge on Tampa Bay. Right now 27 A-Class and 24 505 teams are pre-registered and the weather looks promising with a front coming through Friday PM. Breeze is forecast to be 8-12 Friday from the SW-W, 10-15 on Saturday from the NW, and 8-12 on Sunday from the N-NW. Temps should be in the 60's each day, cool but comfortable.
This will be the 3rd of four events in the A-Class Florida Winter Circuit. The last event will be March 26-28 in Bokeelia, Florida.
Lots of guns sailing this event including Hall, Moon, Smyth, Curry, Moss, Cope, and others.
