Tiger, where did you get the picture? Is there a story behind it? Looks like an idea for an inexpensive race committee boat.

But I wonder how long it would take to drink that much water.

Do you know the PET? It acts of this plastic material (Poly Ethylene Teraphthalate) which one makes for example the bottles usually used to condition mineral water. Eh well appear that a Brazilian businessman, named Eduardo P. of Carvalho, has just built a small catamaran manufactured starting from this material... from where his name, MEGA PET.The boat has, according to the official statement, receipt the approval of the Brazilian navy, and Mr. de Carvalho will launch out as of June 5 (world day of ecology) in a great voyage on the river Sao Francisco. During his tour, the navigator to the meeting of the local populations in order to will sensitize them with the waste recycling, and the need for ceasing guaranteeing on-packing.

It looks like a great project for Kitesail to get involved with -- lots of free publicity plus good will for participating in a worthy cause.
