Our local catamaran fleet is palnning 2 traveling events as a fleet. The first is the Mug Race, the second is the North/South Cat Dash in Myrtle Beach S. Carolina. We hope to have 10 boats travel from our fleet, maybe more, and thats what this about. How about a "competition of sorts" on who can travel the most boats from any fleet to these 2 regatta's.
I have no conflict of interest and will recieve no kickbacks from these events, just hope to encourage some other fleets to take it on the road. Maybe our fleet can sponsor the first trophy, an old tire or something.

Maybe it should be a trailer tire, though.
I wonder if it could be bronzed.
Another idea would be to have what we used to call a GO FAST TROPHY. The club,fleet with the most trophys in all the classes would get the Go Fast award.
I like that! A trailer tire....wait a minute, I've got a few I can donate (been trying to get rid of those for a while now!)
