I have a friend who is a DJ. He uses clamps like these to hold lights on a truss system. Thought it would work well to hold the spinnaker pole on my trailer.

you could strap your squeeze to the bed head with them too if she's got skinny wrists , I find PVC Tape does just the job in both cases
