Area D Qualifier for the Alter Cup, August 18 and 19 at the Pensacola Yacht Club. NOR at PYC's web page and also on USSailing.org (thanks, Darline!). Camping at the club is allowed, and there's PLENTY of space. We're launching from Sanders Beach, next door to the club.
PYC did a great job hosting the Alter Cup this year - Area sailors now get the opportunity to compete at the same venue. The club has been getting more and more interested in supporting multihulls and we want to continue this trend. Pensacola has now gotten it's hurricane out of the way, so weather predictions are looking good.
Who's gonna be there?
I'm crewing on a Tiger - yehaw! Rumors seem to indicate there will be an unusually strong 18-foot fleet of I-18s and Tigers. Choose your weapon... N5.5s, H20s, N6.0s, I-20s, I-17s, P19MXs. Its a strong Area. Hope to see all my rowdy friends!
