Hello,

...the 'bent' tiller is always a dead givaway something is amiss!

...notice how there is a little 'slack' beginning to show in the solo crews' trap line........

I can't quite figure it out. I don't see the skippers trap wire in the pic. I do see the leeward skippers trap wire. I'm assuming that the wire let go from the top and the skipper went splash as he broke his tiller. He didn't even have time to uncleat.

there is loads of wire wrapped around the windward rudder. My guess is either the wire mor the shackle snapped

Bruce,

I see no 'real' solo sailors. I assume you mean the Tornado above.

Have you got your kite kit sorted yet ?

Just had my boat cleaned up and it's looking like new. Wanna see a piccy or 2 ?

I see no single handers in the results after day 2:

results after day 2

Looks like a fair mix of boats, shame that Stuart Gummers Spitfire has been smashed up (dunno how)

Brother Bruce, Thanks! We had our first freeze of the Winter last night. It sure was nice to look at the pics, and the video was fantastic! Wish I could be there! Keep it coming...
