Well Todd, it happened last weekend. Are you still going to say that it is the number and not the sailors in the F18 class?

For the record I do think the number for the formula/box boats and some very loose OD classes (M20) should be reviewed and adjusted where the evidence dictates. But not the way SCHRS did it where the F18 is singled out and some BS F18 only adjustment is used.

You should have gone to SF Todd I would have enjoyed this coversation face to face.

I have not seen any results but have learned that Taylor and Matt claimed a win in the F 18 tribe.

How about Sarah and JC at the Palermo World Cup? The only US team in the N 17 Class finished 10th. Numbers of US sailors was expectedly low with just one team in the men's 470 Class (sixty - eight boats) and two sailors in the Laser men's class (119 entries).

This summer will be a test for Team US. Race management will have to be on point for our sailors at the local and regional levels. Somehow I feel the harder we work, the further forward our sailors will grow.

Now this rating issue... What is the predicted DPN for the Nacra 17?

For those following along at home, there have been a few that have expressed their displeasure with being beat by an F18 because of its soft number and formula sail plan. While the points are valid its clearly NOT the full storey. It has always annoyed me when the accompishments of the F18 sailors were dimished by the innuendo that it was the number or/and the flat spin that got them where they were.

Im late for a yacht club meeting so insert a bunch of snarky sh!t here. Use your imagination, if it doesn't piss you off rethink it.

Unfortunately I have zero idea what the F*&K you're talking about, because there was zero reporting or updates coming from the race and no results have been posted yet. I saw a pic from Dalton and a pic from you on FB and that was it. So what is this

IT

that happened. Please elucidate.
If this is a hype about the f-18 class , it got all the good guys so it never was about the sailors not being good, but just like the A class because of the class only racing the numbers never get/got adjusted like the N-20 or the N-6.0. It's still got a soft number compared to those but it's got almost all the spin sailors now, so it doesn't matter. If you're trying to say the boat wasn't more advanced technically than those boats then you need to put the crack pipe down.
None of this would even be worth my response except you felt the need to put my name in the title of this thread. The easy solution to this would have been for you to not have wussed out on Steeplechase so I could have soundly whipped your a$$, but that probably still wouldn't have shut you up. Now quit your whiney butt, crybaby, attention seeking posting and ,post something relevant, like the results. Buttercup!

Heck, I have no idea - you just sound extra cranky lately and it bothers me. Is everything OK?

I think you've either gotten too sensitive or forgotten how I play. Ding plays hardball, he'll be OK. You notice he hasn't responded, he's enjoying this.
Sounds like maybe it's time for a Midol and a pad change for you though.
Just because we don't agree politically, is no reason to try to read something into my posts that's not there, or portray me as something I'm not. I've always been cranky (and being broke at tax time doesn't help), except when large amounts of rum were involved.

So how 'bout a synopsis of SF, instead of all this silly ****. All I know is Cheryl Johnson hurt her back and Bob sailed with someone else. Lets hear it , weather, wind ,drunk tales of foolishness. You were there right?

p.s. If you really want me to cheer up send me some good rum, Ding can help you in the selection.

Light on Fri - 2 races
Lighter on Sat - 1 race
15-20 with gusts higher on Sunday - 4 races

The Atlanta A-cat fleet went through 2 handles of rum and 10 gals of Bills home brewed beer...

(and no firearms were discharged at this event)

Hey.... what did I say ....
I just opened a beer to enjoy the smart repartee and ad hominiums that Tawd, Jake, and Ding can serve up..

58 boats down to 43 boats is a worry.
