O.K., so I have the boat in tiny parts, I have patched every scratch and ding, I have paint, catalyst and reducer, mixing cups, new spray tips, etc....

I need to know how to hold or suspend the hull so that i can do each coat in one shot??

Please, all advice appreciated,

Insert eyebolts into the cross beam bolt holes. Make a spreader bar wide enough to span the distance between the eyebolts. The attachment point on the spreader bar will need to be adjustable in order to find the balance point. You can suspend the hull in this fashion in order to paint. The suspension device (hoist or other method) should have something to prevent swivel at the attachment or you may have to tie off the eyebolts to stationary objects to prevent the hull from moving while spraying. With this method, the complete hull is accessable (make sure any other holes are closed off before painting to prevent fouling the opening). In order to sand/buff between coats, you may need to steady the hull more, but I'm sure you can figure that one out.

JMO, but I hope this helps.

Just use the shroud attachment point and the forestay/bridle attachment points. Lift the bow first (lighter) and tie off about 3-4' off the ground, then use a block and tackle (if you have a heavy boat??) at the rear shroud point to lift the rest of the hull. Kind of hangs at an angle, but the most "visible" part of the boat (the outer hull surface and decks) are (at least were for me) angled up for easiest spraying-

Worked for me-
