[#25439]

We have a class for the Milt Ingram Race this weekend with five boats pre-entered. They are: 2-NACRA 20, 1-Tornado, 1-Hobie 18, 1-Hobie Tiger (F18). We also have the possibility of a Prindle 18-2 and a Dart 18 showing up. Anyone else thinking of coming up and doing this race can find entry information at Pierpont Bay Yacht Club

Also, we have a few folks showing up at the Carrows Restaurant just off the Seaward Exit from the 101 Freeway for breakfast around 7:00

ish

prior to the skipper's meeting.

As for the weather we're having the ususal mid-July forecast for the Ventura Coast/Santa Barbara Channel - overcast in the morning, clearing by noon with wind averaging 10 to 15 kts. Good Weather Site

Looking forward to a good race, hope to see some new faces.

Re: Milt Ingram Race Tomorrow

Winds have been great all week...10-15 kts starting to crank around mid day, lasting 'til sunset.

Official forecasts have some differences...

THE PRESENCE OF THIS 1008 MB LOW WILL WEAKEN THE NORTHWEST FLOW OVER THE AREA TODAY...BUT AS IT CONTINUES TO WEAKEN...THE NORTHWEST FLOW IS EXPECTED TO RESTRENGTHEN THIS WEEKEND.

SAT
WIND VARIABLE 10 KT OR LESS...BECOMING W 10 TO 15 KT IN THE

A second forecast elsewhere on the NOAA site) has a bit earlier start:

Good Luck to All!

Mike.
