Does any one have experience with building wings? What type/grade, size, thickness of aluminum tube. How do you make the attachment to the boat etc...

Eric,
Sail the boat before making any changes. Learn the boat as is before making any changes. Get your crew trained and learn to dance with them. Giving the crew the main traveller control is a nice "go fast" but only after they know how to trim the mainsail/traveller car in concert with how you steer sailing to windward and on a reach. The biggest improvement you can make in boatspeed is "learn to sail this boat". At this point in time, it is well under rated in PN so have fun while it is easy and get better fast.

I bought a G-Cat 21 last year, and it came with 2 racks. They are pretty awesome, tubular aluminum, mesh tramp, with slugs that fit into the beams. They ran on a pulley that went just above the hounds and as one was down the other was up.
The guy I sold the boat to may want to get rid of them, I know he is never going to rig them up.
Eric, what did you get?

Yeahhh Baby!

It was built in 2000 but only sailed for a two years, technora sails, a few spinnies and a bunch of waterline.
I will be taking it to Key LArgo for 4 days of fun at the end of the month. I'll post a report when I get back.
