Or perhaps he is sailing at the olympic venue and want to stay out of the water..

What boat is it? Not that many singlehanders with spi around.

Looks like a racked-out FX-One from Hobie Cat. Looks like the sail has had some work - is that a person-sized patch? <img src=

Head sized. Patch came with the boat, which you're right about.

I'm going to guess that this is the final throws of righting the boat, and trying to keep his hair dry.

The water spilling from the [color:

]starboard wing, and the splash from the [color:

]port hull.

Looks like he flipped it and lost his footing while trying to do the walk on when righting the boat. the old pull the boat up and stay out the water trick gone wrong.

You guys are all wet. He's obviously developed a new, low windage, method of snuffing the spinn. I think it's called the

Under the tramp, pull it in the sock with your hands

method. You'll all be doing it as soon as you figure out how. <img src=

Thats cold. <img src=

Being that I have to use a bucket, so my skinny butt can pull the boat back upright, I tied a loop in the righting line for the bucket so I could hook it onto my trap hook and fill the bucket leaned out and I don't have to hold the line while struggling to pull 80lbs of water at an awkward angle over my shoulder. I didn't think to remove the loop from the trap hook as I was trying to get back on the tramp as it came up and stay dry. I hadn't been in the water yet so I thought it was a good opportunity to try this, I literally hit the end of my rope and couldn't get back on. I thought it was funny picture being it was taken with me in such an odd position.

I believe someone said he might be dragging something, so he decided to check before he hoisted the spin.

Tim, I must learn this spin snuff technique you indicate. Sounds very fast and super studly-efficient. Must get lots of chicks...
