South Florida. Does anyone have a contact with a CF builder somewhere below Orlando?

I am interested in replacing my comp tip with a CF tip....

Souds interesting. It would save weight up top but it conducts better than aluminum I believe.

Eric,
That boat is fast enough! All this talk about carbon is making me wonder if the hospitals pay better than they do up here! As my crew said 2 weeks ago in Islamorada, I wish I lived where palm trees grew naturally!
We had to kick coconuts out of the way to roll our boat into the water! Gasp!

Eric, have you ever held an H-20 comp tip? It is not that heavy.
The additinal weight is where the comp-tip inserts into the aluminum section, doubling the weight of that area.
A carbon comp-tip will still have this problem.

It would cost a fortune to get a custom, carbon, comp-tip.
It would most likely be cheaper to buy a used Inter 20 carbon mast.
There are some ex-Worrell boats out there with an extra mast.

An H-20 mast(complete) costs $1,803.25, comp-tip alone costs $525.50.
You will probably damage or even destroy the regular comp-tip removing it.
You could sell your stock mast and buy the Inter mast and might break even.

Or you could find a piece of a broken Inter 20 mast and splice it on.

Gotcha,I didn't catch that at first.

Dave, We are hiring...I have a friend in the recruiting department as well as a great connection with the CNO...
Awesome pay and perks. Top 100 hospital in the nation.
Get Jake and come on down, there is still room for gringos.
