Anything new on sail driven freighters? I read somewhere that the world's shipping uses more fuel than the world's cars.

Check BYM News for one and boatdesign.net for another. You will have to search the forums on BD but they have some interesting info on the subject.

From what I have read freighters are also the most fuel efficient form of transport. Much better than cars.
