Okay, I'll turn this to a sailing application...
When our local sailing club hosted my mono's nationals a few years ago, we had the weigh-in scale on a club hoist, with the digital display on a table nearby. I walked up and set my cell phone next to the display, and that boat suddenly was swinging between 1 lb and 10,000 lbs! Unfortunately, it took quite awhile before the scale would read accurately again!
So if you're a bit light at the next regatta, walk around the measuring area with your cell phone till you get the reading you want!
I publish a health newsletter and we showed those videos. it was later reported it is a hoax.. but i dont see how.. i have seen several versions of this clip, with different people and from different countries... and they all seem real to me.. i see no signs of
video editing
and i think its for real.
We have a worker who said they tried it and could not pop corn... still seems possible to me. Our founding Dr. says he wouldn't wear a bluetooth on his head at any time...
They dropped the popped pop corn kernel from above the frame onto the table and touched it up with a little video editing (removed the unpopped kernel digitally).

That being said... the video clearly shows the corn falling UP??? then coming back down. I am not saying it can't be edited.. but it looks convincing..

I wondered if that was how they did it, but I wouldn't mess with a magnetron like that. Putting your hand in line with the beam, even for a short time, could do some damage. And it would certainly blow out the receiver of a cell phone!
The popcorn thing is a hoax, its been around for ages.
