For those that live around the Carolina area and have ever needed a boat repair, you probably know or have heard of Bill Hendrix. Bill owns and operates Mainsail Marine near Greenville, SC and is a magician with fiberglass and gelcoat. Bill is an avid catamaran sailor and created a one-of-a-kind Hobie 'thing' which is a Hobie 18 extended two feet, with Trac catamaran rudder system, an extended mast, and custom sails. He's just about unbeatable on that thing! Bill fell from a ladder yesterday and was airlifted to Greenville Memorial Hospital with shattered vertebrae in his back. I wish I had more news to report on his condition but for now please help us hope for Bill to have a complete and speedy recovery.

Some good news...
Bill has some broken vertabrae but no permanent paralysis. Looks like his recovery will be long term, but hes strong and Im sure will be back on the water soon. His business is still open, and his friends are gathering to help him out with his home and other property management.
The SEACATS extend a wish for his speedy recovery and hope to see him on the water soon.
