Do you use leech telltales?
Do you use leech telltales on your sail? If so, during which points of sail are you using them? How do you adjust the sail or change the heading of the boat based on what you see the leech telltales doing? Do you want to see them flowing straight back or curling around the sail?
Thanks,
John

I use them. They are great for fine tuning when going upwind. They should alternate between flowing aft and hooking to the backside. Flowing straight aft is undersheeted. Hooking all the time is over sheeted. There is a tell tail placement diagram on the Hobie website related to the 16, but generally would be the same on all boats. Some sailors stick them right to the edge of the leech.
