Duck Cup is coming up on June 12-13. Sorry for the delay in getting the NOR up but we have been busy giving our site a big facelift!! I have attached a link to the NOR and some primitive camping is available. We have no more room for RV's since I have already committed to several. Please contact me directly for more details. If you have not come to this race, it is a good adventure with 2 challenging distance races both starting and ending at Nor'Banks.

This is a great race weekend with a great venue. If you've never been you should check it out, if you have been you know how much fun it is.
Hope to see alot of folks show up this year, especially all those N-20s that said they would. <img src="<>/wink.gif" alt="wink" title="wink" height="15" width="15" />

Looking forward to it.. Loyd and I will be there on the F18. Last time I was there, it was a buoy race on Sat and the distance race to the bridge. The Sat distance race to the lighthouse sounds fun.. Where exactly do you race to on Sat? I checked a map and it looks pretty shoally on the sound side of the Currituck. Daggerboard issues? Is Saturdays course longer or shorter than the Sun race?

The course to the lighthouse is longer and there is good water if you follow the shoreline and certain local aids to navigation. Board-less boats can shoot through the islands and this leads to some interesting strategy. Lots of different options and a fun course!! I noticed the link on the website said entry was $50 and that was a mistake. The entry fee is only $20. Thanks and PM me with any specific questions.

Jon

Do you have GPS coordinates on the marks for the course or is the course to be determined depending on wind? Would be nice to go ahead and plug in points.

I do have coordinates but we do determine which course based on the wind forecast. We will make that determination Saturday morning. It is also an easy course without GPS. Weather looks good!!
