Boats are leaving the beach! Early start today - winds are 8-15, water's flat.

Oh crap. Never gonna shut him up now. Fortunately I am out of the country the next time he is in my neck of the woods.

6 if your count Macca or Macpherson. For some reason is registered as NED1 which is very unAustralian.

I'm on the beach today to check things out here in Knokke, a lot of boats from both fleets are calling it a day and have returned to the beach.
There is a lot of wind with big 30kt gusts.

At some point in their lives everybody sees the light. We can't hold that against Macca can we ?

One more down and only a few more to go ! <img src="<>/grin.gif" alt="grin" title="grin" height="15" width="15" />

I'd assume charter boats with local sail numbers.

I have Mischa

Following NOR , they´ve only can discard 1 from qualifying.
If they can discard worst of all 9, Mischa still won

Yes, have that too

Wilson-Lynch , the dark horses almost clinch it.
And Mischa was about time, good for him if confirmed.

Looks like he had already lost the event in race 8. 126 total points - 88 for bfd = 38. Even if he got a 1 in the last race he would finish with 39 points. His 1 would put the rest of the fleet back one point because he beat them, but the winners still tie with 38.

What was the final result of race 5? Was it really over the time limit, or was that an erroneous report?

In a tie I thought the final race decided on who wins, but this isn't the case. What is the rule that is used?

A8.1 If there is a series score tie between two or more boats, each boat’s race scores shall be listed in order of best to worst, and at
the first point(s) where there is a difference the tie shall be broken in favour of the boat(s) with the best score(s). No excluded
scores shall be used.

A8.2 If a tie still remains between two or more boats, they shall be ranked in order of their scores in the last race. Any remaining ties
shall be broken by using the tied boats’ scores in the next-to-last race and so on until all ties are broken. These scores shall be
used even if some of them are excluded scores.
