My sense is that SAP uses this as a showcase for their capabilities. This probably never even makes it to the regatta budget. Now, what SAP chooses to spend is probably quite high, but written off as a marketing expense.
Really amazing in any case. Hope this continues to trickle down and become affordable for all major regattas someday.

SAP probably did it for nothing and will do the same for others as a thumb in the nose at Oracle...
